Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Manuscript Submission

When a manuscript is submitted, it is assumed that the work described has never been published before, is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere, and has received the implicit or explicit approval of all co-authors and responsible authorities at the institute where the work was conducted. Should there be any demands for compensation, the publisher shall not be liable.

Source Files

When submitting or revising a document, please be sure to include any necessary editable source files. Your article will not be picked up for review if a full set of editable source files is not submitted. Please always send your manuscript text in standard word processing formats like .docx or LaTeX.

Copyright Notice

The copyright of the received article shall be assigned to the journal as the publisher of the journal. The intended copyright includes the right to publish the article in various forms (including reprints). The journal maintains the publishing rights to the published articles. Therefore, the author must submit a statement of the Copyright Transfer Agreement.*)

In line with the license, authors and third parties (readers, researchers, and others) are allowed to share and adapt the material. In addition, the material must be given appropriate credit, provided with a link to the license, and indicated if changes were made.
